What a lovely first week off, using up some annual leave to spend some time down in Devon. Before I went, I put on the Gatineau product of the month, the Defilift mask - and after about 20 minutes this happened!~ Good job I live alone, haha! it felt nice after tho. We don't sell anything like that down in the village shop, as lots of Facebookers noted when they watched this video i took this week!

Medical Detection Dogs update - do find out more about the latest media appearances from these clever canines and their owners, and Dr Claire Guest, the founder who has now discovered they can help with early detection of Parkinson's disease too. We've got a lot of work to do over the weekend at the retreat - but hopefully I'll get some downtime as well and go see Dunkirk at the movies!

Have a great week!

My Other Day Job is a bit tongue in cheek really - as I volunteer every week in the local village store in Devon. The Sheepwash Village Shop is supported by lots of the locals and I enjoy being 'Arkwright' for a couple of hours. I get to chat to some of my neighbours, and the community spirit is superb. Anyway they've just got an air conditioner installed, given the hot weather it was very timely. But if you'd like to see the little 'vlog' I did showing how I kept cool, and a little tour round the shop, go here to the Facebook post I did on my Facebook page.

And 'like' the Facebook page here, to be able to see other updates as they happen. (You don't have to be on Facebook to see it as it's a public post.)

Something I've been talking about this week a lot is the current audiobook I'm reading. It's one of those that makes me want to get back to it as soon as poss and has kept me up late at night listening to the next bit! Book of the Week is a Sunday Times bestseller with an ending everyone's sworn to secrecy over, and deeply divided over - Behind her Eyes, by Sarah Pinborough - go here to read more - am very much enjoying it - it gets you thinking!

More from my week including that netball match and what it did to my face, will be on my QVC blog tomorrow afternoon (Friday 30th - go here when it's up.)

I had a great week at home this week - it's never long enough though is it!

Back to work tonight, Friday, at 4pm and 7pm ,and am particularly looking forward to the Imedeen today's Special Value on Saturday on QVC - it's a big value set of the supplements that help the skin's collagen, I take them all the time, don't miss it. Have a great week!

best wishes
